If there good enough (Foden) they'll get in. If they're not, they won't. Nobody is owed a start, we're not that City anymore thank god.

If its all the same to you I'll put my faith in the manager who has nurtured 100s of careers, including Xavi, Messi, Sterling, Foden, and Iniesta to name a random 5.

Tell the truth, if he had played 3 or 4 kids tonight you'd be arguing he needed to get minutes into Sergio's legs ahead of the Derby wpuldnt you?

You always know a city manager is doing a good job when bluemoon turns on him after a very impressive win.
That's not even close to being the same since they all were in their twenties with loads of first teams experience when he arrived there apart from Foden.

We had two unused subs, did Bernardo and Fernandinho really need to play 90 mins? Couldn't he take them off after 80mins to show some respect and encouragement to Palmer who has had a great season and didn't play for the EDS yesterday?

He does care, he just cares less than some people on here do.

To say he doesn't care is crass.
No offence, again, I ask for your counterpoint. There is nothing crass in what I ask.

You can't say he cares and not back it up. I see no evidence that he cares about it, and in fact is worse at it than any of the other managers in the top 6.

He throws opportunities away more than any other manager I've ever seen.

We won 3-0. Smashed it. Carried on building momentum.

I'd bet my mortgage, added to yours, and multiplied by Peps yearly wage that if you asked Palmer if he felt disrespected tonight he'd look at you and say something like "Don't be a bellend. I'm surrounded by the best players in the country, under the best manager in the world, and my career is just getting started. I'm living the dream. Stop complaining on my behalf, I couldn't be happier"

Peps doing a great job.

Thats why the bluemoon massif are turning on him.

Topped the group with a joint record points total for an English team.

Got minutes into legs before the Derby, carried on building momentum, another clean sheet. Team look settled and happy. There's clearly a feel good factor building about the place these days.

He's useless isn't he. Let's go for Poch.

You're being disingenuous here.

We topped the group LAST WEEK. The random stat means nothing and I doubt anybody in the club cared. It's totally irrelevant.

Oh I see what you mean. Giving Palmer 20 minutes would zap away the 30 minutes of football that Sterling desperately needed, totally destroy the feel good atmosphere, he would've scored an own goal which would shatter our confidence, ruin the stability and set about a series of events that would spell the end of Guardiola's tenure and Man City as a top club in world football.

I can only apologise that I didn't consider the cataclysmic consequences of giving a youngster 20 minutes in a total dead rubber game.

You do know that Sterling scored tonight dont you?

No need to apologise mate. You just don't understand football.

And you don't think we could've carried on building momentum with a couple of the most talented young English players for the last ten minutes? Of course Cole won't say that and maybe doesn't feel it either. But think how buzzing he would be if he had gotten the last ten for example. Proof from the manager that he sees you and appreciate the effort you're putting in at the moment.

I love Pep and you can check my post history if you don't believe me, that doesn't mean he's immune from criticism for something I regard as very important.
