We have no choice but to play Raz into form. Regarding Mahrez, yes, he was poor and he won't continue to start big games if he plays like that. Remember Mahrez didn't even make the group against Liverpool. It will take time before Foden and Torres start in most big games. Foden started against Madrid and Torres against Liverpool. Both are starting games every week now. Patience, they will contribute in big games too.
The problem is we cannot play Sterling into form because he is not a very good footballer. Sterling’s best time here has been when he has been getting on the end of things. He isn’t a playmaker or someone we want involved in any build-up, because quite simply he doesn’t have the absolute basics of the game in his locker. This is why he was at his best when we were the dominant side in 17/18 and 18/19 and we had other players doing the things we are now looking to Sterling for. Before and after those two season his form has been terrible. Sterling is a major problem for us because we look a long way from being a dominant side again.

Mahrez is just shite.

I had the same conversations with you over a year ago and this was your response:-

“I really hate some of our fans for their idiotic comments here. You can't find a better manager in the world for this group of players and some utter tools come here and post their dumb comments on the guy who created the best team England has seen. You are fucking stupid.”

and we have continued to decline.

Does a year count as realistic or are we still in daft criticisms criteria?

As I said, either a fan boy or an apologist, or both?

Because this has been a completely normal year, hasn't it?

That makes zero sense considering the team he took over at city. It’s a lazy criticism levelled at pep from rival jealous fans. Why any city fan that witnessed the total league domination we dished out for two seasons straight would say that is beyond me.
He did it with His predecessors teams but why let facts get in the way.

What I wrote then was true. Last season we had a lot of problems with Injuries and also with aging players. I posted a thread last season already in October that the season was likely to be transitional. You can find it and quote from there. It's pretty obvious that no team can replace legends like Kompany, Silva, Fernandinho and Aguero without going through some problems and inconsistent performances, especially with injuries to key players like Laporte last season (Stones had problems too and we had to rely on Ota and Dinho + Zinch at LB).

Now it's different imo. I was saying already in September and early October that we will improve over the season and finish it as the best team in England. Let's see what happens. Players like Kevin seem happy to work with Pep and ready to sign a new contract. I guess they don't understand the situation as well as some fans though.

Last season Sterling scored more goals from open play than Aguero ever managed in a single season. He ain't that bad.

I forgot that Manchester City are the only football club who have been affected by a worldwide pandemic since March 2019 and completely forgot the decline in the previous months before that.

You really need to quit with the fans don’t understand or aren’t intelligent enough to criticise the genius that is Pep.

It does not put you in a good light and makes your opinions moot.

You are a fan boy pure and simple.
