Of all the titles we we've won since Pep arrived, this season's ones, however many they end up being, will all be Pep's IMO. This season more than any has been about his work rather than the players. To take them from the nadir of November/December to the verge of the title, verge of the CL final, with the Carabao in the bag, is nothing short pure genius.

He's hammered the point home over and over again that there's been no time to train/work on tactics with us playing every three days, but I think he is being far too humble when he says that. When you look at the different ways in which we've beaten so many different teams in the last few months it's amazing.

I had to pause the other day when listening to a football podcast with a scouser on there. He said that he was constantly staggered by how many times in a game Pep would tweak things to change the dynamics of what was in front of him whilst almost every other manager in the league (including Klopp) had one maybe at a push two different tactical switches in them per game.

Pep is the greatest manager of all time IMO. What he's done in his career won't be replicated again ever, in the same way that Messi will never be bettered.

I'm trying to savour everything about it right now. The players, the games, the moments, the goals, the celebrations. Guardiola's managed to take a dressing which has no right to support each other with so much competition for so few places, and made them all brothers. You see it in the moments. Like the celebration for Torres' goal or Mendy's the other week.

That team spirit, that collectiveness, that sense of respect for each other, that's Pep too.

With the team missing pre season and after the Leicester home defeat (albeit we had to put out a weaker side due to Covid-19 and injuries) I didn't think we could of win the league but we could still win either the Carabao Cup or the FA Cup and have another good Champions League run. Huge credit to Pep for bridging that League gap.

It’s down to Pep and Fernandinho, imo. Don’t underestimate the importance of the meeting that Fernandinho called on New Year’s Day.

I don't think it is remotely fair the way that his pure supremacy in domestic competitions means the media and watching world demand he win the CL every season. But you're absolutely right - when it comes down to it - this season is the one where he deserves to lift it.

But. Getting the league back off the scousers was the most important thing to me.

Makes me laugh when they go on about it being 10 years since he won it. When he wins it again he’ll have won it the same amount of times as United have as a club. What a failure eh?

That was great as was seeing him run down the touchline after Sergio scored shouting "that's my man".

Pep loves to give credit to his players but they would not be achieving what they are without him. The team won't be training much but they will be getting their briefings from Pep. He's had years preparing most of them to play the game how he wants so most of them are well primed to put his game plans into action and make those in game adjustments. They may just be the best and most coached set of players ever because they had the longest exposure to the greatest of football coaches. I hope they get him the Champions League this season to cement that accolade once and for all.

A great post to read on a Monday, especially when I agree with it. As of even now, it is a stunning achievement and to have a full squad bonded so well and fit is masterful. Maybe the 3 games a week regime keeps them out of trouble. Certainly in my 67 years I cannot think of a better coach/manager, even taking into account the "money" jibes, maybe in the future he can be replicated by a computer or some new scientific invention but "not in my lifetime", to quote a lesser mortal.

I'm trying to savour everything about it right now. The players, the games, the moments, the goals, the celebrations. He gets very little credit (at least as far as I can tell) for how great a job he does of making a proper football 'team'. Most other managers talk about teamwork and how their team does well as a unit, but really they're just paying it lip service compared to what Pep does.

He clearly does make his teams greater than the sum of their parts. Players like Gabriel Jesus and Bernardo Silva curb some of their more natural expressive talents to help benefit the team, and that comes from the manager. The players all buy into it and the consistency levels are insane.

Rival fans who chat shit and call him a chequebook manager are obviously either extremely jealous or just complete fucking idiots if they can't see it.
