Can’t blame him for last night’s exit. We should have had at least a three goal lead going into the game and we lost concentration when the game was seemingly won.

We completely switched off for 5-10 minutes and were punished accordingly. The officiating was also a joke.

Totally agree, not Peps fault

The biggest reason we keep embarrassing ourselves in the Champions League is confidence, or a lack thereof.

People can bang on about team selections and tactics as much as they want but the fact of the matter is that every single fucking season we end up shitting the bed when things don't go our way. And then Pep's stood there twitching his arse off and screaming at clouds.

That might well be part of the package we get from Pep but the fact of the matter is that it's him who is responsible for giving his players the confidence to succeed and year after year he fails to do it in Europe.

i really thought that corner had been turned after the shithousery masterclass vs atletico but i agree that the team looks shaky/not fully confident in big moments. Hopefully a full house cleaning wont be needed but a couple of players like laporte and sterling need to get going probably

Yep not on pep for me players were in cruise mode.

I just think we need a couple of players who don't look completely overawed when we have a mountain to climb or when Pep's game plan isn't working as expected.

During the game, when the chips are down, I just don't think he's the guy to make them remember who they are and how good they are. Imagine you're sat at work, stressed and trying to finish before a deadline and some psycho in a turtleneck keeps scuttling around at a hundred miles an hour screaming things like "RELAX!"

If they can't handle that then we need a few who can.

I was telling my City mate, although we won at Leeds the defending was rubbish, several times during that match Leeds ran right through our midfield and if it wasn’t for blocks, deflections or saves they could of scored 3 or 4 themselves, difference was we took our chances and we didn’t last night.

definitely, last year the team felt more solid at the back, the injuries disrupted a lot of stuff i guess

Does he think he can win the Champions League with us? I keep going back to what he said after the final last year, about how the club would be back at that stage and maybe would win without him
