Yes I would really like him to make changes at HT when 1-0 down for a change. We generally always lose when losing at HT so why not try it for a change instead of 65-70 mins in?

Going to have many games like this and Southampton this season without a proper striker.

Southampton was nothing like tonight.

Against Southampton we were tired and thoroughly outplayed. Tonight we played very well but Bernardo decided it'd be funny to hit the bar from a yard out.

We'll have far more games where we win if we consistently play as we have done in the last two games.

Southampton game was worse than this. We dominated this game for most part and created a lot of chances but couldn't finish any. With Southhampton we had no shots in target for 90 % for the game .

But yes we need a striker.

We werent great but we could of won with a good striker. Missed that movement in the box.

Has to take some blame tonight. Don't really see what our plan was going forward tonight. Our best opportunities were from a crossed in ball and a corner. that's not city. We seem too reliant at the minute on that typical city goal of the underlapping 8 inside the centre back for a cut back. If defences close that space we don't really seem to have another approach we just keep trying to make it work. We need more variety in our patterns of play. Team selection was odd too, with the front 3 we put out we should have been rested more with Liverpool in mind, ake, stones and Fernandinho should have got a game, hopefully we don't look sluggish on sunday.

No blame attached to the manager last night,the players gave their all only for the footballing Gods (and a **** of a ref) to fuck us over.
