Mutiny!Correct. He's risk averse. Scared of losing the ball. The team displays the attitude of the coach. Indecisive, slow, and confused. Pep is scared to let them off the leash and they've forgotten how to play without fear.
He's near the end of his time at City and will judge himself a failure if he doesn't win the CL.
His nervous tinkering and fear of failure will leave us in a worse situation (in terms of the squad ability etc) when he leaves than when he arrived.
He's been here a season too long imo, and is in danger of tarnishing his reputation for the sake of winning the CL with someone other than Barcelona/Messi... his personal holy grail.
Mutiny!
Peps first season he didnt have the players to play his style of football, it wasnt his team. 2020 we had injuries to key players but at least we still played attractive football. The football we are playing now is no exaggeration awful, possession, possession with no end product. Its the opposite of what made Pep a great coach. He's falling out with players, making the same tactical mistakes, poor in game management, players out of position, this hasnt been then case in previous seasons.People thought he was done in his first season they thought he was done in 2020. Some people are incapable of learning, you must be one.
It really isnt, it didnt take me a game or two to think that.Know that is knee jerk.
Yes there were reasons and he fixed them. There are reasons now anyone wanting somebody other than Pep Guardiola to fix them are in my opinion very short sighted at best, luckily nobody in the club are that short sighted or stupid. So I have no worries Not to mention even with the issues we can see, still competing as we approach the latter stages of 3 competitions.Peps first season he didnt have the players to play his style of football, it wasnt his team. 2020 we had injuries to key players but at least we still played attractive football. I wish.Morning pep:-)
Know that is knee jerk.
What do I make of it?I thought it after the Villa game last season when Gundogan dragged us over the line to win the PL. That game was lost and Pep was on the edge until Gundogan saved his bacon.
I thought it again during the Brentford match. There's something missing with Pep now. The spark has dimmed and our football is laboured and frequently boring.
His press conference rant against the PL charges did little more than mask what's been going on on the pitch imo. The same heartfelt passion isn't apparent when it comes to matches.
The team reflects the coach. Make of that what you will.
