I can't believe so,but speaking only for myself...I want him to stop fucking about and introduce some flexibility to his stubborn approach.

Much of our magic has gone,it needs rediscovering and that ain't happening with the same old sussed out routines and lack of invention.
This is it, unfortunately we have been spoilt and want to keep it up which it can’t be, even United didn’t win everything every year at their peak. I honestly think he’s almost experimenting to see what he needs for next season to blow them away again.

I hear you and have been thinking thats very much a possibility.

He has decided to take what he can from this season, alnost writing it off.....with the intention of preparing for next and beyond.

I genuinely hope that's the case anyway, otherwise we better get used to a few more seasons of relative mediocracy.

Pep with the subs today:

We played better against Nottingham (still played well today), but of course we won, so instead of 100 posts complaining about anything, we will have none (whether is positive or negative things to say).

The criticism against Forest was justified, because although the football was sublime at times it was also toothless.
Today he deserves credit for the clear progressive approach and the fact he got Haaland into the game.

Not vintage football today but as the scoreline showed......it doesnt always have to be,it just needs to be effective at getting that ball in the net.

If you count the number of chances we had against Nottingham, and the number of chances we conceded, we were better against Nottingham (which at the same time is a much better team that Bournemouth), so if we were toothless then, we were even more today (we were not toothless either day ofc). The only difference is that we were effective today. We scored one of 3 Rodri's header, Haaland 2 tap ins, KDB 2 free shoots in the box, or Foden gives the correct pass, and we were 0-4 easily.

Pep is shocking at using substitutions.
When we are leading any sub by him seems to be code for the rest of the team to down tools.
The pace drops , goal threats stop ,opponents sniff a chance for some redemption. The number of his subs is usually directly proportional to the damage he will wreak e,g 2nd half of the derby.

The main difference is the result. We played better last Saturday than this. This week Pep’s a hero, last week Pep out.
