Can’t argue with him tonight to be honest. Only thing is that Sky know full well that the fans were booing the corruption of the officials. Blatant cheating. Just blatant cheating to give one of the old money clubs a helping hand in the title race. But they’re setting the narrative to unsettle the manager.
In Pep we trust. The man’s a god.

Pep as usual is 100% right - it was way too quiet for long periods tonight and we shouldn't just expect to win every game easily. He is spot on about the players too - it's so easy for some to make mistakes and say not my fault it's what the manager wants - they have to be accountable too. The Belgium performance at the WC should stand as a warning what happens when you lose the edge.

Love him that was a fantastic post match interview. No doubt he told them a few home truths at half time despite what was said. As fans we have to also get louder at home & as Blu1 says let all know we love our manager!

Love his note to the away support too - which is always fantastic.

I don’t think he was correct in his assessment that the team was booed off because of the score and not the performance. Given what we went through over the years, it’s probably fair to say that our fans can take defeat better than most top teams.

He said he doesn’t recognise his team and that’s exactly how many fans feel. This is the most non Pep like side I have seen and for me, that’s why the fans are unhappy…we simply can’t understand what the frig has happened with players that have been so good, for so long.

Hopefully, his comments light a fire and the real City…the team that we all recognise comes back.
