Just what we needed.
Feel a lot better now, there was a veiled warning over our reputational damage if we win.Hopefully it means we sue the bastard's, does anyone honestly believe they would have gone after the red tops for alleged breaches of 14 years ago.Weve took enough shit now enough is enough!

a couple of thoughts

1st - i know pep is very well paid but he shouldnt be the one to face the music, hes lending his credibility vs accusations of events that happened before he was hired, i think, right? hes just a football coach, not a lawyer or ceo or whatever. hes not even the ideal person to counter the stuff thrown at us off the pitch. its though handle all this outside noise and hes not a guy to particularly thrive in chaos so i think he should be protected more by the higher ups.

2nd - of course that press conference sends a strong message both inside and outside the club, that he loves the club trusts ferran and txiki and hes willing to ride or die with them and city. If the players needed a reminder to know whos the boss, they got it now, its his way or the highway and the club should back him 100% until further notice

I actually see pep walking this season.

It will take at least 2 transfer windows to sort this out. We have let complacency set in all over the club. Our transfers have not been great. It’s all 1 step forward 2 back

We need first team replacements not squad players.

We need 2/3 defenders. What we have are never fit

2/3 midfielders. Gundy too old, Bernardo wants out, Phillips is a sick note & Kev not consistent

At least 1 more striker. Haaland needs specific service. Alvarez still learning

We need a captain & somebody to replace Arteta. Players loved him.

The club have allowed it all to go very stale sadly

Still think Pep is gonna walk??

Grand speech! There's a bit of a St. Crispin's Day feel about it, or if Pep isn't tuned into that particular piece of history we know he hates injustice and I reckon the Catalan in him sees this as the kind of fight for survival that his folk back home endured. Bastards can send City down to the Third Division (North) but Pep is hinting he'll still be there. So get Vincent Kompany in as his assistant and we'll be all reet for ten years.

Just watching it now, the way he called out all the 9 clubs who complained about us, by name, loved that.
Then widened it to the 19 other clubs in the Prem.
Then linked in the hate against the Abu Dhabi ownership.
Then the fact that there is no apologies when we have been found innocent and won't be again.
Then who next will come after us.
Then a warning and a veiled admission that other clubs are equally pulling accounting stunts.
Then he's more committed to stay and it feels like he is more fired up than ever.

Couldn't feel prouder right now, you beautiful bald bastard.

Sunday will be a cracking atmosphere - bring the hate to all those that hate us. Boo the PL anthem, we will prevail.
