I love the man but I wish he would stop saying that we were great, in the second half yesterday, when we were clearly far better in the first half. I don't know what he is trying to achieve. He has done this before.

You can’t watch the second half without the context of the first.

We were 3-0 up and took off our best defender and striker to preserve them for future games - which itself sends a signal to KDB, Mahrez etc. that we are in “see this out” mode now.

I think Pep would say any PL game where you have been so good you can coast for 45 minutes and think about the future is an excellent performance.

I know the fans wanted blood after the PL charges, and the welcome and the atmosphere all round, but I think we have to accept these players are running low on fuel after the World Cup and beating Arsenal is a bigger statement than racking up another 3 goals would have been.

Would have loved to have shoved 6 past them to put a marker down but I understand that we managed the game after half time and the substitutions didn't help. All in all a good result and first half performance.

I was disappointed yesterday that he shot straight down the tunnel at full time. He goes on that the crowd need to be more vocal. A lot were there 1 1/2 hours before kick off to welcome the bus. The fans then showed their support throughout the whole of the first half. The least he could have done was take 1 minute to applaud them

How quickly a tiny minority forget stats like this.

Throw in a record number of goals scored and an incredibly tight defence as well.

The man is the greatest manager the game has ever seen and isn’t finished yet.
Er be careful! You’ll be getting accused of being a happy clapper - whatever that’s meant to mean

He could be a bit peeved that we were once again a library in the second half ? We need to be vocal the whole game. I just don't get what happened to us as a fan base. I totally agree though, no matter what, they should all acknowledge the fans that stayed until after the whistle. I also got there a few hours early to welcome the bus and in the second half I really tried to get people around me in 116 to sing, clap, join in but to no avail ?

We started season with the following back4 -> Walker John Ruben Cancelo..

Why this was important -> For example Arsenal has White-Gabriel-Saliba-Zinchy back4..

Since Pep arrived, he modernised football and it's like standard today.. One fullback plays higher, 3 defenders stay back and etc. Every big team plays like that, for example Newcastle: Trippier-CB-Botman-Burn.. Tripper plays higher, other ones stay back.. Arsenal: Zinchy plays higher, other ones stay back.. So it's similar pattern in every big club..

Why City had an advantage:
1) Cancelo was like a Winger and is one of the best players for that role. TAA, Trippier, Zinchy and etc. are great players, but Cancelo was at least one of them, or even better.
2) Kyle FUCKING Walker -> White is centre-back, Burn is centre-back, so if we analyse other teams they don't have such option. That third player is either classic fullback (Robertson, AWB, Cucurella / Chilwell and etc.) or classic centre-back (Burn / White / etc.).. Walker is the player who is classic fullback and can play that centre-back position better than above mentioned classic fullbacks.
3) Last season we even had Zinchy and Pep could use Zinchy to help midfield more, use Cancelo to help Wingers / Attackers more..

So that was our advantage and that was what made us champions - in addition to other ones.. This was one of the main fundaments of our team..

Right now this options are limited.. 1) Zinchy gone 2) Cancelo gone..
So we have Rico and Gomes.. Both of them can play like Zinchy, help midfield but Zinchy right now is waaaay better than Rico and Gomes and it will take a lot of time to improve them. Plus Rico isn't LB, which means that if we play Rico, than we can't use Walker - which isn't even an option. If you play Gomes, you have poor man's Zinchenko :D

On the other hand if you play Rico + Jonn / Ruben / Laporte - Arsenal Back4 is still better and has an edge or at least we are not having an advantage.

Cause Zinchy > Rico and John / Ruben / Laporte > White / Gabriel / Saliba..

So that's why Pep tried yesterday Bernado as a LB and he may start experimenting a lot, due to reason that we are out of options and we need to find that advantage, we had last year and year before that..

Loaning Cancelo out was the worst decision, considering we didn't even have replacements. If Zinchy had stayed than OK, but at first selling Ziinchy and than Cancelo, it was a big damage for the club and its advantage against the other clubs..

Fuuny thing is I always thought it is something any fan would want to be, somebody that enjoys their football and claps / supports their team. Apparently for some being miserable and 'realistic' is the way to go. Takes all sorts I suppose.

BBC News - Ballet director smeared faeces on critic's face after bad review

This lad had the right idea. Pep should do this to Simon stone and a few others at the next press conference

It means someone who will not look at City through anything other than fuck off Blue tints, and therefore cannot offer much meaningful, honest or objective opinion or input.

@blueinsa is definitely not one of them.

To be honest the SS3 was ok second half, at least until Villa scored. That stand should have been the one for the lads/singers and the club messed up. I looked down on SS1 5 mins into second half and loads were still not back in seats.

Maybe he just really needed to take a leak
