They would have punished us on the counter. Their tails were up. We controlled them the best way we could and have the chance to finish the job off.
They did anyway
Gundo can’t play 90mins at the top level anymore. Legs and wind are totally gone after an hour
Mahrez scored a great goal but did fuck all besides, then was a passenger second half.
Phil and Phillips would have injected energy and at least a bit of defensive gumption back towards their own goal

Gundo is similar to Fernandinho and he is the leader. He may not quite have the stamina but he still has the influence and plays to what Pep wants from the team. Phil and Phillips would of injected energy but it would of to be at some cost to the games (and tie's) overall balance (even with them being in the ascendency)

Phillios has been awful whenever he plays and Phil was slightly injured.

also said last time as well, he needs a proper number two.

Arteta is a pretty good manager on his own, what a great combo that was. Lillo also had hell of an experience as a manager.

now he is stuck with this old Spanish guy who looks bored on the bench and Maresca guy who was fired from Parma after 4-5 months?

Again, we'll never know. Would be nice to find out for once though. Especially after the Forest game where the same thing happened.
We had more chances vs Forest to kill the game. We decided that a complete attacking performance against a side that is currently unbeaten would not be the wisest of options.

We all saw Ferna’s last season, one too many. A mistake. And he is my undisputed favourite City player of the last 20 years

It's not that we expect to win everytime, it's we expect them to try. Not passing to the striker and recycling the ball between the defenders with no intention of doing anything isn't trying. Not bringing on subs when the flow of the game is clearly against us isn't trying. I don't know if he lies in his interviews or is sometimes a little delusional about his own culpability.

You should calm and be more respectful of our best manager ever. Wow...

I love Pep. It doesn't mean he gets a free pass when I think he's talking bollocks. The second game in a row where you could see a change was needed after a great first half and he does nothing.
