Real Madrid, first of all, is a "state club".

They are also a state club. And longer and bigger state club than City.

They had the support of a military dictatorship until 40 years ago. After, they stay in power in democratic mode. Same surnames, sames families who privilege Real Madrid with political favors that translate into economic resources.
Second, last year City was better than Real Madrid, and City lost due to individual mistakes that Pep can't control.

Can you trust in Vallejo Lunin Ceballos Cañizares Jr Mariano? No. They are players level Leeds.

They won in Madrid? No.

Will they win in Manchester? No. And if you know about football you know that.

You cant say bad words about Pep this year. He is driving the team amazing.

Hopefully, a good result on Wednesday and another in June. When and if the first happens, I would think it will be two in a row. Another contract extension would be a dream on top of all.
 
Cheers Pepster. Some absolute quality footballing displays that have been a joy to watch.

We've had expansive brutal wins, we've had cerebral displays of art. Today was pitch perfect.

That range of play, matches where different individuals bringing their strengths to the fore. Chef's kiss. "Team".

One more this week. This is the one to win by hook or by crook, I guess.

I'll leave it in your capable hands as how to pitch this one.

Big start big atmosphere? Big pace, big man? Or turn the wick up gradually, as we try to run their old men into the ground?

I'm going to go off and worry myself stupid about it.
 
I can't believe what has happened over the last 4 months. Early on I was willing to concede that this season was a punt and that they had to learn how to play with a #9. I thought they'd finish 2nd or 3rd but have a head of steam heading into 2023-24 but Pep knew, he fucking knew. They're playing better than the Centurions, THE FUCING CENTURIONS!!!

If he can resist his urges and just stick with this formula he'll waltz to the treble. I'm ready to believe he's gonna do it, I just pray he doesn't prove me wrong and try to change things up for Wednesday.
