I actually didn’t feel like he was berating him as much as his normal, over enthusiastic coaching. He has done similar things before to players and it’s not usually (at least in my opinion) when they’ve had a poor game. People dislike Gvardiol so much, I feel like maybe they were seeing it as far more negative. Unfortunately now it has become more fodder for those folks that he’s not a good fit.

Well I really rate the lad just think its square peg in round hole treatment .

I feel like his public coaching immediately after the final whistle on the pitch is more to do with it being immediately after the whistle on the pitch than with it being in public.

I bet he feels that the message is absorbed better while still on the pitch where he can point out exactly where things happened And tgeplayer hasn't time to rethink things. I'd bet that he follows it up with video analysis when they have an opportunity. And maybe with games coming quick there's seldom time for retrospective video analysis.

So in my opinion it's much more basic and low key than people make out. But I could be wrong and he could just be trying to be a dick.
