I actually didn’t feel like he was berating him as much as his normal, over enthusiastic coaching. He has done similar things before to players and it’s not usually (at least in my opinion) when they’ve had a poor game. People dislike Gvardiol so much, I feel like maybe they were seeing it as far more negative. Unfortunately now it has become more fodder for those folks that he’s not a good fit.Pep may be Number 1 but I'm not sure berating a player on the pitch at the end of a game in front of fans like he did again last night to Guardiol is actually 'great management'. Coaching can be done away from the TV cameras.
