Wouldn't surprise me if he leaves Bobb on the bench when he gets back.
Don’t suppose it would surprise you, myself I would be surprised if when given a shot he shows he’s ready.Truth is if he thinks players are ready to help the team he’d play them as he does with Lewis. Seems Simpson Pusey has jumped ahead of a couple as well,.Does it seem likely that Pep thinks a player is ready and improves us but leaves them out and makes us weaker simply based on age and whether they were academy or bought ?

You still here begging for us to sack pep, you only turned up these last couple of weeks to tell us we should sack him as it suits you if we did , fuck off telling us what we need when you have selfish intentions

He is a trolling **** is what i think !

Classy, eh. Get a grip. Even at your age it’s not too late to learn to cope with views that differ from your own. Embarrassing.

Not having the clamour for the eds to be flung in , we have a few new young players and they are a bit lost at the senior players not being able to nuture them, teenagers are not going to save us or have us winning games , ffs
But O’Reilly, McAtee and Simpson-Pusey have all been training with the squad and have been around the squad for quite a while now. I’m not suggesting we just fling them in, but giving them a chance to gain experience is absolutely necessary. How will they get it otherwise? They didn’t get a chance when we were sweeping all comers 5 nil. When do they get a go?

My point is what we have been doing isn’t working, the senior players are completely shagged out because if they aren’t lying on the physio’s table they’re playing. So why not alleviate some pressure on the senior players by giving 20 minutes here or there, or 90 minutes in a game when we’re going to drop points anyway. We’ve accepted now that this is a transitional season, you can’t transition by doing the same things with the same people.

Not for certain no, but it the most likely thing isn’t it. I’d guess at about 90% chance Pep Guardiola best coach in the world that works with him and kept him with the squad right maybe 10% chance a poster sat on his keyboard on a football forum right.Thats being generous.
Of course we can all have different opinions, just be self aware enough to know Guardiola is most likely the right one.
I agree, but then why did Pep want to keep him? McAtee, that is.

He got one chance against Newcastle, won the game and then was never seen again. I haven't really understood why so many on here have been crowing for the several months hes been injured like we have Rodri about to start back in a few weeks.
Exactly what I been saying. People saying Bobb back soon. As if thats gonna solve anything

I'll go out on a limb and say that his culture is closer to cheeseburgers than tapas.
Bro your constant slagging of Americans is quite frankly boring, annoying, and sophomoric. I'm a first generation Italian American for whom football is like a religion. Not to stereotype or oversimplify but the large majority of "Americans" who follow football are products of German, Italian, Polish, Ukrainian, and South American immigrant families who know a whole bunch about our game...come up with a new routine. You don't see me pointing out how there are no English managers of worth in World football and that's actually a real thing...: )

Save the stories tough guy ; )

I promise I will if you save the hot air.
My point was that I doubt he is from Madrid and the fact that he speaks perfect English makes me believe that he might be an American or Canadian (like me, by the way).
No slight whatsoever on Americans or his knowledge of the game, so not sure where you came up with your rant.

Probably to just be the EFL Cup/low level CL/early rounds FA Cup squad player that he is because he has more experience than the 18 year olds.

Someone has to be that player, like Sergio Gomes was. Like Phil Foden was at one point.

I said for a few weeks that he couldn’t do any worse than Gündoğan, yet came on in one game and actually did do worse than Gündoğan.

He hasn’t been great, but he’s been in and out very sparingly other than in the cup. With the minutes he’s had, I think it’s hard to expect anyone to come in and shine. If we’re so threadbare and struggling, then his legs would surely have done us good when we’re shipping 4 to spurs, or to give him more than a single minute against forest at 3 nil up. I know we shipped 3 in no time at all in the Champions league but the point still stands. If he’s not good enough to play other than in the early rounds of the cup, or lower level champions league games then he should have been moved on and a promising academy kid given that little experience, or we should have brought in a journeyman to fill the void on a 1 year contract.

Only because you thought the guy to be an idiot which he may well be and then made him out to be an American. Americans don't have a monopoly on idiots...

As an aside I have quite a bit of family in Toronto and Oshawa, Ontario...

I don’t think he’s an idiot at all. Matter of fact I don’t even know what he was saying.
I was just pointing out to Karen that I thought she was off the mark with her idea of his culture.
Anyhoo, the “Shwa”, as we call it is about 20 - 30 mins east of me and I have worked there many times.

Well if Pep won't play them how are they supposed to get first team experience? They could not do any worse than the supposed experienced players are doing. 5 points in about 2 months isn't anything to write home about.
They have been training with the squad , why cant you get it in yours and others thick heads that he knows better how they fit in or not
