He has been brilliant but if he stopped now the team is worse than when he started. If he feels he can sort it fine but like you I get the feeling he doesn't.

Unlike you I don't think anyone hates Pep. He's the best manager we've ever had and I've always said that when he leaves there'd be a huge drop off in performance. What I didn't expect was that the drop off would be while he's still here.
I don’t think that anybody in the industry hates Pep but opposition fans certainly do… I guess I’ll just say “fuck ‘em” if the worst happens

It makes me sad reading what I’m reading, after everything he has done for us. Some should show a little fucking class. It’s a terrible run but we will come out of it. Show some fucking faith in a guy that has won us things we could hardly dream of previously.
They're just entitled gloryhunters in my opinion. This lot would have been suicidal in 1998 when we went down to the third, they would never have coped.

I am backing him until end of January as I've said earlier. Maybe he will turn it around in that time. But the rut we are in with regard to the losses may prove impossible to get out of and it can soon unravel completely. So while his reputation which is unparalleled can never be taken away from him, it can be tarnished greatly in the next 3-4 weeks depending on results . Get in 1-2 important signings or Defensive players back 100% fit and it may turn around.
Sorry but it's pathetic. The team are struggling because the core of it has been ripped apart. There's no mystery to it, the only thing that's difficult to understand is why some of you can't see why the club can be in this position (with injuries and so on) and expect it not to have much of an effect on us.

DESPITE everything we're STILL in the top 5. You've just got used to the way things are done these days, a manager loses half a dozen matches and he gets the sack. But if you cannot separate the way City are run from the way those clubs are run you have a problem.

It was bad before Rodri. For those saying it's 2 months of bad results....it really has been 5 months of bad performances.

I love the way you say this as if it’s a reasonable take.

You’re not even giving the manager who won the last 4 league titles in a row (and the most successful manager in the club’s history) until the end of the season. It’s not a reasonable position.
Let's talk about rationale. Let's say he doesn't turn it around by the end of January. That could mean another run of up to 8-10 losses. Are you seriously saying he should stay until the end of the season given that possible scenario? Would Pep have the support in the dressing room by that stage? Who knows?

Listen to his own words post match : “I don’t have a defence! I’m the manager, I have to find a solution - and I don’t find a solution! This is a big club, when you lose 8-10 games - something wrong is happening! I can say the schedule is tough, I can say injured players - but NO! I’m the boss, and I’m not good enough - it’s as simple as that! I’m not doing well, that is the truth!”

Not many have turned it round . I remember Howard Kendall turned Everton's season around in with the signing of Andy Gray in November 82 when they'd only won 6 out of their 21 games . He also had signed Peter Reid earlier the season before and things turned around in early January of 1983. They won an FA cup and then later broke the Liverpool stranglehold in the League.

A turnaround is rare but we should see signs of it in January if Pep can get a fully fit defensive backline or 1-2 new signings. Bobb will be coming back too. So we are down but we are not out. Give him time but the losses cannot continue indefinitely.

It’s not right, something not right, hasn’t been all season, we are always good at conceding but there’s no goals in the team no more to win games.

We sold Alvarez and paid for new lights in the stadium, that’s the issue shit transfer window - it needs to happen in Jan or forget Europe and who’d have thought we’d be saying that.

problem is that those players that are missing apart from Rodri who is long term injured, those players would likely be in this same shit below par form like the other. Ake, Stones, Akanji, Bobb would more rotation, but doubt their form would immense if alongside them everyone is way under their own ceiling.

Bobb must be close to come back, but the way our wingers are asked to play, he may or may not score a goal this season. not even sure Grealish will score one or Savinho. ridiculous.
