I agree he needs a break and he should be allowed to do that if he decides to. However, I don’t agree he should be pressured into making that decision. Just ask him if he’s still up for what’s ahead of him and the team and you support him regardless of what he chooses. He’s at earned that from us and the club.

No one atm mate as It’s World Cup next year and would love nagelsman . We need to move away from possession football and build round Haaland before he fucks off because if this shit carry’s on he will be looking to move .
 
I believe Pep can turn this around but he’s had a stinker of a season let’s be honest. The most worrying thing in all this isn’t the strange off lineups he makes (he’s always done that) or the lack of subs during the match (he tends to have done that regularly over the last few seasons) but it’s the predictable, lethargic way we now attack. We have somehow gone from the most impressive fluid attacking team in the prem (arguably the world) to Moyes’ United. Pass to the wings, try and beat a man and cross it in. It’s mad.
 
I thought at the time Pep renewed last year that it was probably time for a change, due to the size of the squad rebuild required. I was then (and still am) fully on board the Iraola train.
Certainly my preference would be for a young hungry manager.

No idea. I think if Pep was moving on he would have said and they’d be leaks by now. And if he’s not moving on then he deserves our support for everything hes done. Simple as that.

I do think next season will be his final and I hope he can go out with a bang.

The man id love to take over is Luis Enrique.

I get what your saying but because he’s so stubborn sometimes you need a strong friend type person to tell Pep to take that break, if you leave the decision upto Pep it could get worse next season if he were to stay on, it’s borderline but imo he needs a break.

I’ve calmed down now, let him go. He’s not going to be here for the rebuild that’s going to take more than this summer. Never thought he’d stay as long as he has. Will forever be the best there was.

It's not just the last 2 teams though. Its been every team selection since the 5-2 win. But he kept getting away with 1-0 wins or last minute wins or someone coming in to change it late for him.


But time and time again, the original idea in every game was mostly diabolical.

It saddens me that when asked about the prior Palace game, he recognized we played fantastic even before going down 1 and 2 zero. But yet he decided to go away from that fantastic display and revert back to one form of dross or another.

Enrique isn’t gonna happen imo. He has an unbelievable squad built for half a decade of dominance in Europe and the support PSG offers. He can very well do the same for us, but he’s risking a lot leaving PAG to take over here.

Today's selection - just like the CL final in 2021 - served one purpose, to inflate his own ego and to make it look a masterstroke IF we came away winning the game.

It's not overthinking at this point, its happened so often in the bigger high profile games. He moves so far away from what makes the teams tick and adopts a different style which we usually have never played before. Its absolutely fucking mind boggling.

There's no other logical reasoning for selecting a team that hasn't been picked together before or playing players in positions they haven't all season other than to try and look a genius if we win the games.

Maybe but I would be very surprised if he stays there long term. Not saying the timing would be right after next season but we might do what we did for pep and bring in an jnterim manager for a season

Totally agree with all of that. However, as much as I can’t stand watching us play this season, he’s earned the freedom of choice to do what he wants. There is a chance he revolutionizes the way we play and we’re playing electric centurion season football but there’s also the chance we get more of the same of this boring shit that is a complete waste of my time to watch. We just gotta gamble and see what happens.

Herein lies his biggest problem. His Ego. Its annoying every time.
