This thread is awfully quiet - where have all the clowns gone who said Pep was past it?

We're top in 2025 despite having played one game fewer than the murderers.

The Pep out tossers don't deserve this club.

The football played this season has been boring, no one expects success all the time Entertaining football yes.

Guardiola interview after the game on asked about MCFC needing an overhaul or rebuild this summer .
I don't have that feeling ,i'm sorry !Maybe the club is a little different ,we'll see.
I have 24 players & i see my players ,the day before in training ,i said oh my god ! How good they are .

But of course new faces will come especially in positions where we are a little weaker
But i don't think much ,we have a good squad ,they have contracts ,they want to stay & i don't want a big squad .

This place loves name calling

We lost cup final last week
Played boring football
One two games don’t change the facts for season
Unless he changes next year will be same

He still goes to press and says he doesn’t need overhaul or multiple players basically saying let me keep my uncle gang
 
He looked fired up after that question about Jack, if he can get that through to the players next season with a refresh I think we will do well.

Playing boring football for the first time ever because the midfielders are all old.

That boring football has got us the most points in the league this year.

This is amazing.

I know Liverpool and Arsenal slowed down as the league was decided early, but to get the most points since January with so many injuries is great.

Remember that all of Stones, Ake and Akanji missed two months or more in that period and Haaland got injured too, being out of form since returning.

It was very easy for Pep to play attractive football. The thing is it would have won us 10th place or bottom half of the table.

It is, and we've played one game fewer than those two as well.

It's unfortunate that the dippers are signing Wirtz because without him I'd be very confident of overtaking them next season.
 
There seems to be a bit of revisionism here. We were shocking this season despite grinding out the results to get to 3rd.

I can't honestly say that our boring frustrating style contributed to the results or impeded the results. It's done now.

But if Pep thinks he doesn't need to really shake things up and that he needs to improve his own performance then we are destined for more blandness/impotence next season.

All we want is fight, goals and some intelligence.

We weren't shocking, though, we just had a horrendous set of injuries in November and December which killed the season.

We were top of the league before that and have been top since.

We need a new midfielder or two and likewise full backs.

The blandness is a function of having old players in midfield and that won't last.

Cmon mate we’ve been poor all season and and bad selections and peps stubbornness has cost us big time . Even yesterday fulham should have scored a couple and Eddie had a blinder but next season pep need to really get his tactics right as we don’t want a repeat of the tepid crab football we have served up this season .

Simce christmas.we have been one of the form teams

we just haven't been as dynamic of previous years, 2 seasons ago we would have similar 300 pass movements but they were quicker and forward and eyecatching, this year they have been laboured and sideways and backwards and boringly slow.

Add to that Akanji is either adept or shite at passing so 50% of the time terrible and Dias isn't great either andnwe have chopped and chamged the defence, losing Ake and Stones our most skillfull centre backs affects the whole eddie-defence-midfield- forward mquick passing movement momentum.

We have dominated games but made them look laboured
