Pep Guardiola - 2025/26

Dreading the day Pep leaves, but it would be fitting to leave after winning a domestic treble. Still hoping he sees out his final year, but it sounds like this will be his final year.
 
If this is, as it seems to be according to rumours, the final season of the maestro let's hope that we can sign it off with another title.

Thinking about it I always remember Pep saying many times that Bernardo will only leave when I do.. maybe connecting the dots but we will know soon enough.

There will be so much written about him and perhaps this initial thought is for a later date but haven't we been blessed to just be part of the last decade - so many ups, as a club -mainly through Pep - we have redefined football in this country.

Of course be prepared for many fans from jealous clubs saying he only did what he did because of the money but if you look at it objectively you will see so many players reach new heights, often in new positions under his coaching.

It has been a real pleasure Josep "Pep" the perfect manager for the perfect club. Now any players looking at this forum - we need that extra 10% for the final push to say adios and thank you to the greatest manager there has ever been.

Not a huge surprise, given the amount of speculation, but still absolutely gutted. What a ride it’s been, the end of an incredible era. Winning the domestic treble would be a fitting end though for the greatest manager of all time.

As has been speculated, the new North Stand will be named in his honour and Enzo Maresca is his replacement.

Well just in case he does indeed leave at the end of the season the impartial BBC have splashed a big story of this rumour and predictably opened HYS up for Pep to be trolled by their vermin readers.

Is what it is, said along I’m utterly ambivalent about the whole situation. Pep was never staying forever so at some point logically the day is going to come where we have to get used to life beyond the greatest.

It’ll have been the best 10 years we will ever see, but life goes on.
