Sadly, have been told by someone who’d know that the rumours about Pep leaving at the end of the season are indeed correct. Praying it’s not true, but he’d have no reason to lie :(

Not a huge surprise, given the amount of speculation, but still absolutely gutted. What a ride it’s been, the end of an incredible era. Winning the domestic treble would be a fitting end though for the greatest manager of all time.

As has been speculated, the new North Stand will be named in his honour and Enzo Maresca is his replacement.

Hugely disappointing.

He hasn’t signed the extension yet, just rumours.

Whilst Pep is obviously irreplaceable, I’d have hoped the club would be more ambitious than trying to replace the greatest manager of all time with a guy that had a win rate of under 50% at Chelsea.

Should be one of Enrique, Klopp, Emery or our very own Vinny.

I’ll be more heartbroken than any other exit from the club by a million miles . I wonder how and when it would be announced? That’s a tough call.

Me too. And I have to say, even more so with the rumour of his successor.
That said, I took a little while to be enamoured with Pep at the very beginning (to my lasting embarrassment) so what do I know?

Might be stupid to ask but did Pep sign a guaranteed 2 year extension or was it a 1 year extension with the option of a second. If its the second option then that would explain him maybe leaving this summer.

But it was always going to come one day. The things we have seen in the last 10 years won’t be done again for generations. We cannot thank Guardiola enough.

Personally I am not bothered who “replaces” Pep as you simply do not replace the man, if it’s Maresca then good luck to him. Whatever happens, happens - we will all still be blues regardless.

It's kind of poetic in a way that he could leave along with them. Two of the most important players to his success who he seems to absolutely adore as humans too. It does seem like a lot of change to the squad leadership at once when two of the most biggest figures in the dressing room and a monumental manager leave at the same time.

Just because I assumed people would be interested! I'm not saying it's definitively true, just passing on what I was told. As I've said a few times, I very much hope it's not true. Guess we'll find out one way or the other in the coming weeks though.
