PEP GUARDIOLA is ready to snub the blue half of Manchester – for the red.
The Daily Star Sunday revealed this month how Manchester City told Guardiola to name his price to replace Roberto Mancini.
City sporting director Txiki Begiristain met with the Spaniard but the former Barcelona boss told friends it is the United job he wants.
That is expected to be available in the summer with Sir Alex Ferguson planning to retire but even if he changes his mind, Guardiola is prepared to wait.
In a huge snub to City, Guardiola, 41, would extend his sabbatical should Fergie decide to stay.
Guardiola could double his money at City but is more interested in the Old Trafford project and has met Ferguson over the last few months to discuss it.
The men have property in New York and are reported to have met at least three times there recently.
A three-year deal is on the table for Guardiola who will want two assistants and three new coaches for the clubs’s youth programme.

Quality. I'd be happy to have him as our next manager should we decide to get rid of Mancio. However, I hope we stick with Mancio.SCF08 said:Classic. Filmed at the Ballon D'or festival couple days ago.

Ok,ta.
Not sure that warrants a snub however.

There is the Barca/Real connection too remember. I'd love to see Bobby do that to a Rag at an awards ceremony.
