I'm playing the very, very long game. Give it another three years and my true self will be revealed.

In the meantime I will continue to be, as you describe, a laugh, although more than a "bit" of one, I'm sure you'll agree.

I believe Pep will replace Ferguson in two years time.

It fits in with Ferguson's own retirement plans.

City just aren't at the stage where we can plan that far ahead in terms of a manager.

Anything could happen in the prior two years which would deem it necessary to make a change at the helm.

A change that I still think will happen this summer.

Not a pop at Paul, who is a good lad and clearly gets decent bits of info.

May I ask how you are aware of Ferguson's retirement plans?

Both Pellegrini and Guardiola have signed 3 year contacts which seems to fit.

Guardiola needs some experience away from Spain and where better to cut his teeth further.

It also depends on how well he gets on with cheeky and Soriano..do they keep in touch? Probably.

Also, our academy will be up and running by then and maybe that's part of the bigger picture.
