Pep - Manager of the Season 2017/18

Another one for fun

Games Managed in PL
Dyche - 110.
Guardiola - 71.

Games Won
Dyche - 32.
Guardiola - 51.

Goals Scored
Dyche - 101.
Guardiola - 173.

Are people actually comparing stats between Pep and Dyche with a straight face?! We literally have a team of world class players while Burnley are full of shit kickers and oafs. How good a job either is doing is not related to how the other is doing. Dyche has done an excellent job. So has Pep.

It’s fair to take into account relative resources. On that basis, Dyche might be considered tops if we had won the PL in orthodox fashion.

But we didn’t. Pep has turned everything on its arse with a combination of innovation, entertainment, boldness, character and effectiveness. It’s that unique cocktail that dictates he should win it and indeed WILL win it. Dyche is excellent in a narrow sense but doesn’t come anywhere near on a balanced scorecard.

Those numbers don't really matter. I'd expect us to win more games and score more goals than Burnley. We've played outrageous football this season, that's why he should win it. Let's not belittle what Dyche has done because some media wankers are on the wum though - he's done a cracking job at Burnley.

What Benitez has done at Newcastle is more impressive that what Dyche has done at Burnley.

All I want to know is why our managers never get any recognition.

There is a narrative being spread by many that because we apparently have an unlimited transfer budget and world class facilities on top of an already world class squad, anything other than a quadruple each season is deemed utter failure.
