Pep - Manager of the Season 2017/18

That's over cooking the goose.
He was very good for 10 years then gradually fell by the wayside - not keeping up with new ideas and techniques.

Not entirely true as he has (e.g.) tried 3 at the back in recent times but he also managed 3 FA Cups in the preceding four seasons. Regardless of which, he is one of the most important managers ever to work in the English game but he is, IMO, on the rung below Pep.

As i said very good but in continal decline from his high water mark in 2003-04.

Give over. The guy has been fantastic.

3 title in 22 years the last one being 15 years ago, and if you look at the years he didn't win it, never took it down to the wire(in fact hardly funished 2nd)

7 FA cups with a burst of 3 in 4 season twice and a 9 year gap inbetween them.

The invincibles never won back to back (the apparent bench mark now)

His record isn't as impressive over 22 years as is eulogised about, when he arrived he revolutionised coaching systems, but he hardly was this master manager dominating, it is a myth, like most of the sky 4 era bullshit
