Pep - Manager of the Season 2017/18

I think Jose is a contender because he has managed to come second by mainly defensive measures in a game that demands scoring more goals than the opposition as its definition of an objective.
City won by scoring a lot of goals but with one hand tied behind his back ie parking the bus Jose has managed second place, a magnificent achievement.

Next year I think he will play with only 9 outfield players and try to get second place again.

The good news is that now Wagner has joined the party - there are to many anti-City candidates to chose from (Dyche, Hodgeson, Wagner, Benitez)

If we beat Southampton to get 100 points it simply has to go to Pep.

Regardless of who gets the award Pep has clearly been the best manager this season and it's not even close. Dyche hasn't done anything special apart from make Burnley hard to beat by parking the bus every game.

Will they have already voted by then? I believe its announced on Tuesday which implies they'll wait until after the final round of games before voting. But I'm not sure whether each panel member just e-mails their vote or they get together to discuss it.

Like one of the podcasts said... If Pep doesnt get it then it's a damning statement on progression of football in this country.

I believe the award is nominated by fans votes then a committee. If that commitee chose anyone other than the manager who has shaken up football in this country it is so damning.

It would be interesting to see the reaction abroad.
