Pep stay for 5 more years or a CL trophy?

What would you prefer?

It has to be the Champions League. Pep could leave, we could get relegated and when we are down in league 2 with 35,000 each week we can sing all about winning everything and dominating. We can dine off it forever more. Until we do, unfortunately the job hasn't been done.

It's the one the players, management, owners all want and it should be the ones us fans want now.
And our fanbase will be once again lorded as the best and most loyal in the country because we wouldn't be a threat to anybody down in the third tier.

Biggest crock of shit I've ever read. A cup that has defined great teams for over half a century, that garners recognition from peers across the continent and in every league, isn't worth winning? Jesus wept.
Indeed.

That trophy is older that the EFL Cup is, from a time when there were no such things as plastic tourists.

I won't be happy until we do the treble (PL, FA and CL) 3 times on the bounce. Each season has to be a Centurions job and one must be undefeated. We also have to destroy the print media, talksport and 5live. Only then, will I be satisfied.
Edit: After the unbeaten season, Delooney, Harris, Conn, Ronay et al will be paraded behind the bus (in shackles) as it makes its way down Deansgate.

I don’t think they did mate. Through very poor judgement, they begrudgingly thought they couldn’t not join that Super League which they had no input into the organisation of and weren’t greatly an enamoured with the idea of.

They knew it was a huge mistake and what really was important and came to their senses.
They panicked because they thought we were going to be left behind. When they realised it was a mistake they backed out and it all collapsed like a pack of cards.

Pep. Still not that arsed about chumps. Even if/when we win it the scum media will be you have only won it once/twice/three.....................
Even if we overlook United for league titles and Real Madrid for Champions Leagues, other sets of fans and the media would belittle it and say ‘they don’t count, you only won them because of oil money’.

But nobody else matters. Only anyone connected to City matter. The players, the management team and other staff, the boardroom, our owners and most importantly the fans are the only ones who matter.

What anyone else says is irrelevant.

It's probably easier to win "that treble" 3 times than destroying the media. The FA, PL and referees will see to that!
