Pep: 'The players deserve a full stadium, we need our fans!'

Chelsea fan in smacked arse shocker.

Loving the lesson in financial fair play from a fan of a club owned by Roman and the fake concern for the little clubs pmsl.
except that the money we spend is not from Roman, we spent alot of his money in the past, yes, but right now, we are spending our own money, generated from revenues, comercial deals etc which is one of the reasons our big spending has toned down

If City fans don't understand why UEFAs shitty anthem gets booed they need to give their heads a wobble. These cunts introduced a wholly unfair FFP regulation, then bent the rules in order to punish City, who had gone out of their way to conform. Gill's current attempt to skew prize money in favour of the 'elite' clubs shows they're still at it. This organization is corrupt to the core and I'll continue to boo the anthem unless their is a direct appeal from the club's hierarchy to stop doing it.
And the Premier League and FA are squeaky clean? At least be consistent and boo everyone. And boycott watching the world cup while you're at it.

I hardly think we have "gone out of our way to conform" with FFP. FFP was a load of rubbish, and we went out of our way to push its boundaries as far as possible. We were also financially strong enough to suck up a fine that would have crippled worse-off clubs.

I'm sure you personally have the highest principles, but imo many people just enjoy having their cake and eating it, too: being a massive club and still feeling victimised.

FFP is not about regulating the rich clubs to protect smaller clubs, it's about trying to preserve the reduced power of clubs like AC Milan and Manchester Utd. Who drafted the rules? The owners of those clubs for self-interest not for the interest of football.

You also do not know about how the rules were implemented and measured against City. City made big efforts to comply and thought they had, but they moved the goalposts, but that is all boring now.
fair enough mate, wasnt triyng to start a fight :)

What do you think we are spending now?

So is ours, the fact is you were allowed to invest, as anyone should be.

We're at that point finally as well. Not bad to be at this stage considering it was less than 10 years since the takeover. If the bossman was to sell up tomorrow he'd have made a profit I reckon.

Which is why you will probably finish outside the top 6 again,ah well

Anyway can we get back on topic please as this thread is not about our finances or FFP as much as the Chelsea fan would like to make it.

Cheers.

We boo the anthem because the bastards have stitched us up at every opportunity and are still trying to do so, just look at the new ratings based on who has won the damned thing going back decades! Sorry Pep but as a fan base we have always been off the wall and stubborn, that's why we stuck with this club for 35+ years when we were on the whole utter dog shit.
