Actually have no problem with thugs as long as their talented - if that's all Pepe was I'd have no problem with it.

But he's a soft, diving, play-acting, down at the slightest push of contact rolling around like Alba or Busquets twat. No thanks.

I agree, providing he can be a controlled thug; I think a really hard CB is something we have lacked for a long time - Vinnie's class alongside Pepe's physical dominance sounds ok to me - main worry is the effect on Nastasic's career such a move would have

if he could work alongside Pepe for a couple years, sharing duties with him alongside Vinny and embracing a bit of his mean streak, it could make him only better. additionally, he looked tired towards the end of season which may mean that he is not suited for such long season at the moment; with Pepe we could have some flexibility in this field while not losing in quality.
also, Pepe is a thug - yes please and sign him up!

Age and salary not withstanding he's would be a decent player to have. Maybe we need someone to be a bit of a thug. Since ndj left we havnt really got anyone with a bit of bite. Spilt 50/50 tbh after seeing him take a swing at the opposition coach don't really want him in a city shirt. But having said that would be decent cover and that bite might help us in the tough away games like stoke were we get bossed about.

Pepe is one of those players that plays like an animal. People love to have him on their team put hate to play against him (like David Luiz). Pepe could be a decent signing to add to Pellegrini's la liga signings

Pepe appears to be outside the realm of the boundaries of "The Project" and is certainly not better than any of our starting defenders!
