The way we are spending our money is ridiculous. We'll probably end the Transfer Window with the highest Net spend and without a world class signed. Don't we have a new transfer policy? I myself don't see it. We are spending big like prior seasons but not getting a marquee signing e.g. Kun, Silva, Tevez etc.

Didn't see much if him last season bar the games with us and the odd el Classico but he'd be a top signing. He's a bit of a hothead but him and Kompany is a lot more formidable than Kompany and Lescott, or Nastasic even. He's also at the right age not to worry about stalling Nastasic.

You are correct. But he's a bit of a **** and people have perfect morals when it comes to a player not playing for their team. Unless such a player signs for their team then they appreciate the player and defend the cuntishness. Case in point Bellamy.

Scousers took it a tad too far with Suarez but there are examples all over the place.

Pepe is old, but he still has a bit to offer. On his day, he's up there with the best centre backs around and could form a brilliant partnership alongside Kompany. I wouldn't be too displeased if we got him, would help develop Nastasic's game and could be a signing like Chelsea made with Carvalho. Him and Kompany would strike fear into Premier League strikers. Born winner who I'd enjoy seeing kick Van Persie continuously.
