Shawcross is one of the best EPL defenders. He's still young, cheap and British. He would make a great signing.

Both valid points. I think the ideal CB is somewhere in the middle of the two. Someone who can stick up for his team mates but who is going to lose his head and cost us a game by getting a red card.

As for who that is i'm not sure but if the manager goes with Pepe then clearly he feels he can control his temper. Only problem is Mancini thought he could control Balotelli and that didn't turn out so well.
