Let's agree to disagree mate. Not sure how long you've supported city or how old you are, but Gundogan is no where near being in the city all time shit-house eleven. Doubt he's even among the top 50-100 of shit city signings - and I'm not a fan of Gundogan btw.

Nothing to do with him being in any top 50 list, it's the constant sideways and backwards passes that boil my piss more than anything.
Even our shittest signings from past to present occasionally passed forwards

He’s regressed horrifically since we first signed him, there are loads of central defenders playing for lower level Prem sides that I’d have in place of him, day in day out.

Watch the full game back from yesterday and watch Gundogan in the first half, he was constantly trying to find forward passes with through balls and dinks over the top into the box. Half the time he over hit them, granted, but the other half they were miscontrolled out of play by the forwards.
I’m not talking about what I think, the evidence is there in the footage of the game, and most games.
This “he only passes sideways” thing is completely false, made up in fact.
Last season when he played in defensive midfield, he had the most successful passes into the box from DM by percentage and per minutes played in the league:
