Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Most of us from that era never recovered. PTSD, Alcohol/substance abuse, marriage breakdowns, frequent sleep interruptions caused by nightmares, flashbacks.
Nightmares and flashbacks? You mean Stuart Pearce?

Well he's convinced me

I think the opposite ... if City don’t win it, more chances of Pep adding on a few years to try and get that in the next few seasons ... if we however lift it later this month, then he’d have won everything with City and might think best leave now ...
He’ll never leave before his contract is due but if he wins it this year, next might be his last

Tenures like Taggart and Wenger are long gone. I can see him leaving after winning the CL and the Premier League again. He’d have nothing else to prove.

I wasn’t suggesting he’d leave right after winning the CL but yes meant that end of next season when his contract runs till ... after all winning CL this season would also give him the chance to add two more in the locker, the European SuperCup and the Club World Cup ... both easy peasy to win but when won somehow bigger than League Cup as the scousers have told us all year ... will see them how media and all change their tune to oh it’s just a European community shield (and if scousers are to beat arsenal in the actual community shield, somehow that’d become bigger and a proper trophy all of a sudden)

I'm sure there was a strong rumour that he planned to do that last season if we'd won.
