Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Exactly the same here.

I am trying to place myself in Pep's shoes and I am thinking that he has gone into it wary of past personal criticism, the experience of the Lyon group games, and concern about the state of his defence but I do believe his changes effectively shackled the City side on that night. We were a bit unlucky with the way events unfolded on the night but I am sure that if Pep had held his nerve that night we'd have been in the semis.

I hope this is but one blip in his management rather than a watershed which changes how he's regarded by players and fans. Overall his management at City has been little short of wonderful.
I hope you right, but in the Champions league this is becoming a bad habit of Pep's. Not only with us but he did the same with Bayern.
He seems to over think this competition, especially in the later stages, and against lesser teams.
Whatever, we must regroup and go again next month, we have to hit the ground running, otherwise I can see a long season ahead.

If you're taking Poch over Pep it's time to call it a day. Maybe take up fishing or something.

Peps is also better at fishing he lobs a grenade in. Poch the loser has one of those likkle nets from Blackpool sea front. Bloody loser only caught a newt

So are the tools at both managers disposal.

Spurs are not exactly Accrington Stanley mate.

Kane, LLoris, Dele, Son and i could go on.

He won fuck all whilst our manager cleaned up domestically and for anyone to seriously suggest we get rid of Pep because we got beat by Lyon and replace with a man who has won nothing is bonkers. I could just about understand the conversation if Pep said he was leaving but he has not and isn't as far as I know.

I'm not suggesting anything fella just saying the comparisons are grossly unfair. None of us know what Pep is doing but if people believe pep is the absolute best then how could we find an equivalent?

Sorry mate, got the wrong end of the stick.

Life after Pep? Downhill imo as you don't replace him in the same way the rags cant ever replace Ferguson.

Its why i don't get the rush to push him out of our door from some?

If he is only staying a year and doesn't feel the need to change the way he operates then if I'm honest I'm pretty apathetic to him staying or going. If he signs a long term deal it goes back in his favour.

Was last season a one off or has it all gone a bit stale? We would need to be inside the club to have a better idea.
