No, because the rest of the PL became quite poor/similar, despite us finishing a distant 2nd, we were still 15 popints ahead of a weak united/chelsea in 3rd/4th. The top 2 have been streeeta ahead of the rest the last 2 seasons, and the top 1 was, 3 years ago, this is not a strong league imho.Premier league weak ? You need close to 100 points to win it now - surely that has raised the standard ?
A strong league is where 4 or 5 are competing in it for the last 3 or 4 games.
Also 5 teams didn't get to 40 points, with the bottom side 13 points adrift of the team above.
Another measure is GD, we were 116 goals better than the bottom side, and more than 90 above 3 others, and even 15 better than the champions, and 37 better than the next, this is not the sign of a strong league either.

The PL is becoming the same as Italy, Spain, and Germany, and everyone says they are "weak", Germany a one horse race for what 8 straight years (13 points ahead this year), Spain a 2 horse race for what 10 (barca 12 points ahead of the rest this year, yes a couple that atletico ran it closer), Italy pretty much a one horse race (ended up closer this year because juve collapsed at the end, but still won it), and then there's France since PSG were taken over (12 points with a game in hand when it was ended).

He's handling huge contracts at PSG and did very well with Dortmund too. I'd say Tuchel is a sensible appointment for many Premier League clubs.
