Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Not sure where Pep would get such a free reign at another club , he mostly gets the transfer targets he wants and is allowed total control over everything regarding team affairs , hopefully now ClubshopKlopp has signed his deal Pep will follow suit , it would be brilliant if he stayed for another four years and completed a decade of denying the Dippers trophies

Maybe its time for a fresh approach and new strategies.Pep is a brilliant and intelligent man,he may well agree.
I think Pep wants to win everything at City, so that’s mean he’s got the champions league, club world cup and the super cup to win. If he wins the champions league this season, he may go into his last thinking he’s won everything, win the title again and pass it on to the next man. I don’t believe that will happen as I’ve convinced myself he’s going to sign an extension. I don’t think we should rule out him leaving at the end of next season as a managers happiness can change so quickly.

I think, as long as we are competing but being challenged, Pep will stay. What I mean by that, is that we have a very good Liverpool side pushing us and still haven't won the CL but the team are all still listening and following Pep's instructions and the club is backing him financially so why leave?

He will leave when he feels the squad is probably in need of another voice or if personally he feels burnt out. I think he is loving the rivalry with Klopp and wants more of it.

This.

It’s nail biting for us fans but look at Pep, and Klipperty to be fair. They buzz off the rivalry and competition.

Agreed.

As great as our team is, Pep will look at it and still see things that can be improved.

He's managing one of the best teams in Europe, in a league that contains at least one of the other best teams (Chelsea have fallen off this year but at their best, I don't think they're too far off). He has his rivalry with Klopp, and at the same time it's also a very competitive league and anyone can drop points against anyone.

He wouldn't get this at any other club, and not as a national team manager either.

I think he's with us until the excitement goes, or he starts feeling a bit burnt out, or the club asks him to leave.

Hope so, anyway.

Pep and Klopp both have egos, but they are exactly the right sort of egos in that they take it seriously but not that seriously and let all of the talking happen on the pitch. With that said, I think Pep gets a bit of a buzz continuously scuppering all the talk of Liverpool being the best team the world has ever seen and could absolutely see him matching the deal.
