Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Dont like pep going into his last year at all, I see people's arguments but ultimately it just feels like city want to eek every second we can get of pep at the club, which basically is us admitting pep's bigger than the club and we'd rather go into a messy season with him than a structured season without him. Don't like it, don't think we'll take back the title with a manager half out the door.

my musings above yours means were singing from the same hymn sheet

Not what I said, Pep is the type of manager that needs to work with new players after a 2/3 year cycle, the players simply can't take his intensity. Saying that I am not sure he can either, hence why he had a years sabbatical after Barca.

Bernardo played CM when he was at his best in the formidables season, we hardly missed KDB, last year, he had few good games but when he did he was playing central.

He brings great and much needed energy to CM.

Ok I see. In that case what I'm trying to figure out is who you'd rotate out of midfield to be the CM you want to bring in? Assuming Gundogan.

50 plus games you will need to rotate all players, Foden is still young and will need looking after.
