Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Lmao actually reading some rival fans opinions on this and they are all shitting it saying ‘guess Messi is going there then’ lmao I love it!

one of those games where you think afterwards, thank fuck I was there for the moment. Not the best game but we where the best team, that penalty from nothing late in to added time that shouldn't have been added. A flat extra time them Muric muric muric…… Then the pep moment, "we've got"... He rarely loses it like that to let his emotions go. Special moment that.

Then M6 was shut on the way home ! They did that most nights for fans.

I suspect this has been common knowledge at the club for sometime.
It explains why the likes of Torres and Dias agreed to commit their future to us and why Messi wants a piece of the action too.
It takes more than just 5 years to build a dynasty and that’s what Pep Txiki and Ferran have set out to do from the very start...
The club are now a PR machine and very good at having things in place and releasing information at the optimum moment either to detract from bad news or send a message elsewhere (Messi perhaps)
For me there is only one person at the club more important than Pep and that is our impressive Chairman

He's commited himself to us till Summer '23. I hope I'm wrong but I think Pep has taken us as far as he can. I'm not as delighted as most he's extended, it seems.
Like I said I am sure he realizes the challenge at hand, If he felt he was not up to the challenge I am sure he would not have renewed the contract.

The only thing he didn't experience as a football manger is to be sacked, so.......But honestly, I am thrilled he extended his contract with us.

I'm gonna write this without any evidence to back it up apart from seeing him on tv and the odd snippet of news.

I think the death of his Mother had a huge effect on him and at times he's seemed un-interested in football.
Add to this his, and City's, treatment in the media, a lack of recognition for the club and teams efforts and general snidyness about the club and i'm guessing he was having a hard time deciding his next move.
I've already started to see glimpses of the old Pep in the last few games, although his cheeky assassins smile is yet to appear, so i've come to the conclusion that he's got his head straight and is well up for the fight. The signing of this contract seems to say the same.

COME ON CITY.
