Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Don't come on here giving out about spending. That's a shithouse media cunts trick to groom the masses into believing investment in football is wrong.
We buy who is best for the club to be successful at the price to be sustainable. Simple as that!!
Yeah but also for our return we don’t have anyone who can change a game and our manager can’t even trust them to do what they normally do. Thats problematic

No one wants Pep out. We just need him to stop over analyzing games in the CL!!! I mean he never does it in the Premier League and our road towards the final of the CL was also kept simple!!! Why oh why did he have to change it in the final game!! Tuchel kept it simple and knew what has to be done. Pep messed it up and took forever to fix it and by that time it was too late

Please Pep, keep it simple, we won 21 games on the trot keeping it simple. We are allowed to be upset with him, that doesn't mean we want him to go!

I just don't want to say every year I hope he learns from this mistake. This time I really hope he learns from his mistake and hopefully we can reach another final and win it!
Can you define "simple" please?

Because what Pep does is not simple. He plays in ways that make other coaches learn something new. You think Tuchel would be the manager he is without Pep?
Pep has been around long enough now to be regularly playing against coaches that have studied his methods in detail. He inspired them, they soak up his knowledge and then put their own spin on it.
In effect, any top manager under 45 is a Pep clone!!
He is the giant they are standing on the shoulders of!!!

Have you not learnt anything from the last 5 years?
Pep doesn't do "give it to Fernades/Grealish/Salah/Kane" tactics. Having 1 player that everything goes through is a big risk if they get injured, or out of form. The last time he did that was Messi, and tbf, he's a completely different animal to those other players above.
We play as a team, each a crucial part of the machine, that can be changed without much disruption.
The machine runs so well most don't hear it purring in the background...
If you want a game changer you will be disappointed.

Beginning to calm down but this will be with me for a while yet. It was there for us.

I think we have to take the rough with the smooth with Pep. He is the manager he is because he always thinks we can improve. Like a chef always fiddling with already successful recipes.

In some ways signing Kane or someone will take some of this away. The whole experiment with a false 9 this season has been because we obviously don’t have a forward he trusts.

Prior to winning title this year I hadn't forgiven him for the bollock he dropped against Lyon. Title and cup made up for it. But he did it again last night. And as much as he has done for the club, wouldn't wanna get rid. But I wouldn't consider him to be the great as some in media make him out to be. Personally still think Poch and Klopp are slightly better coaches tactically. But overall wouldn't swap Pep for anyone out there.

He just needs a kick up the ass from the guys at the top of the club. So many poor buys and bad team selections.

Passengers:
Mendy - sell
Sterling - sell

Need to hold back on extending fernandino and buy an establish midfielder. I would go English on this. Cos we lack passion in that center.
I assume you're talking about Poch's tactics, which have won him a grand total of fuck all, and Klopp's burn out your squad in 18 months, slightly more sophistcated John Beck percentages tactics?
