Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Spain is probably one of the last international jobs he'd take
I think he will manage either England or the USA. Spain will be problematic due to Catalonian issues. As regards city I think we will be his last club, he has everything he needs here to his liking, so I can’t see him leaving for any other club. The age profile of the recent purchases and the youth talent coming through suggest he will be here for a while.

I don't see him managing an international side anytime soon.

Don't think he'd enjoy the small amount of time with an international side trying to get his style across to them for it all to disappear when they go back to their clubs.

I find it hard to believe he's going anywhere anytime soon.

There's no doubt he wants at least 1, if not 2 European Cups with City and he probably feels that we should already have 1 in the bag which will disappoint but also drive him.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him as our manager for 3-4 more seasons after this one. Then probably off to manage the USA with legend status nailed.

Me neither, I think if there was an interest, it’ll come way down the road when he wants to spend more time doing other stuff and being with his family.

The one thing for me that I find absolutely astounding about Pep is his intensity and how long he’s kept that level up, must be exhausting for him on so many levels, I know we take the piss out of Bingo and how he’s cracking up etc (and I’m happy with that :-D) but I’ve also seen signs of Pep breaking out of that usual cool, calm demeanour and the true emotions coming out.

I cant see him leaving the team right now, it's stacked with talent and must be fun to work with. If and when he does I think he'll enjoy a nice break and then try Italy.
