Pep's contract situation | 2 year extension confirmed! (pg1817)

Pep's departure will be felt in the same way that Alex Ferguson's was at United. Pep is so influential in the game, and his ideas pervade every single aspect of the club. Still, as a fan in my mid fifties, I had 44 years of no league wins, so in a strange way I am looking forward to witnessing how we deal with such a loss. To have what we have had - a genius who has changed the world game - has been an absolute privilege, no matter when it ends.

I hope it won't be like when SAF left the Rags: we have a far better infrastructure and I don't expect us to let the team standstill the way the Rags did.

Goodness me. He’s cleared out his stuff already!! In fact - he moved out in 6 MARCH according to the site. Just so you know - there may be other apartments in his block LOL
Definitely Pep's apartment! He's got a picture of Bernardo in the bathroom that's reflected in the mirror on photo 9!!

if you have supported us for longer than 12 years then it wont be ever so hard tbf, we have become quite spoilt but we have to remember it hasnt always been this way which makes us appreciate it all the more, lets not become entitled fuckwits like the red tops.
Not so long ago:

20/01/2007 City 0–3 Blackburn Rovers
03/02/2007 City 0–2 Reading
03/03/2007 City 0–1 Wigan Athletic
14/03/2007 City 0–1 Chelsea
06/04/2007 City 0–0 Charlton Athletic
14/04/2007 City 0–0 Liverpool
28/04/2007 City 0–2 Aston Villa
05/05/2007 City 0–1 Manchester United

Try winning the PL with that set of results, 2 points out of a possible 24.

that was a good year for us back in those days lol

We won’t be like the rags post the GPC. Bringing Mancini back would guarantee us further success, although I know he won’t be at the front of the queue in the Sheikh’s mind.

On that basis Pep will be here until the dawn of the next millennium - there is an infinite supply of annoying sports ' journalists '....
I don't mean your standard annoying journalist, I mean the things only Pep gets because he's the City manager, maybe a bit more disrespect for his achievements at the club so he stays just to drive them even more crazy.

Feel free to have a go at me...

Artega worked under Pep. They chucked him at Arsenal to see how he would do. He got within 2 points!

Artega to City would not be a problem for me.

It is odd why he has still not signed that new contract beyond 2025 that’s on the table.

How about instead of all the acceptance, the resignation, the discussing replacements etc etc, we as fans made overtures for him to stay. He always said he'd stay as long as he was wanted.
A few banners around the ground and CFA?

Agree...do like this idea & possibly getting the 1894 chaps involved.

Pep does seem a rather emotional individual & we should make every effort to pull at these strings.

Whilst I'm sure Khaldoon & the exec team will try so should we as lets be honest we're never going to get another manager like him so lets try to keep him here as long as possible.
