Pep's contract situation

Not reassuring at all.

Always get shit quotes on the eve of the derby, but this time they’ve come from Alfie and, worst of all, Pep.

Think he’s gone tbh. His last couple of quotes about his contract situation have been pretty despondent.

Haven’t seen the full embargoed bit of the press conference yet, but wouldn’t be surprised if he was replying to a question along the lines of whether we might suffer when he leaves in the same way United did post-Ferguson.

Hopefully that’s where it’s come from….but just thought it weird that the club have made an article around that quote/response to a question and then posted it on the website and app the night before the derby

Maybe it was pre-emptive to show that we’re not concerned about it, before all the Sunday papers run with it in a more dramatic way.
