Why hasn’t he had a sniff then?
He’s getting a game nowadays because we’re bare bones. Pep has had no option other than to play him. Under normal circumstances he’d still be on the bench and no one would’ve given him a second thought.

If I was Pep, I would ask for just two signings in January which could transform the season:
1. N'Golo Kante. Probably get him for about £10 million.
2. Cole Palmer. Offer the chavs £100 million CASH up front and I reckon their money men would bite our hands off.
