Encouraging noises from Pep I would love him to stay and continue with his rebuilding. Once he’s committed I can see top class players wanting a slice of this. Haaland for starters please.

It's becoming a,stick to beat him us and the club with. Even if he intends to go in June he should sign a three year one with suitable get out clauses just to stop the speculation.

I disagree, unless he loses his intense love for the game with age, I think he would revel in it again. Watch how he sometimes rushes on to the pitch after games to make coaching points to the young players eg. after the Marseilles game or remember him coaching Nathan Redmond after a Southampton game . There is great personal reward for a natural coach in seeing young players improve with that coach's help, like a teacher with the dedication of a life long vocation.Can't see a manager like Pep ever becoming a youth coach! More likely to be at Director of football level imo

as i see it its as simple as: if city improve their playing and are serious contenders come the end of year he stays, if not then he's gone. I love Pep, but there are coaches out there who could do much better with the current squad, i think (Ten Hag, Nagelsman, Rose, the Salzburg guy)
