Pep's contract situation

If he’s not staying he should stand down at the end of May, hopefully having just lifted the CL trophy.

It would be madness to expect the new guy to start in mid July, presumably when all the players are having a post WCC break, and with no pre season to introduce his methods.

Much as I love Pep, if he decides against extending his contract the priority has to be to make it as easy as possible for his successor. He should take the squad to the WCC

No the decision HAS been made because txiki is retiring at 60 and soriano going to NYCFC as vice president. It has leaked out early and so now it’s stage managed for a bit to make it look like pep is mullingbit over.

People inside the club got an indication mid February club was going to be ok on the charges. That allows for the succession planning to take place. New York been part of the plan for a long time.
You need to stop knocking about with Ralph Malph.

Can't see him going until the run of PL titles is over.
So let's keep fkin winning it!

I kind of get that. Why would you leave having for example just won 5 in a row. When you can go on to win a 6th, and really set records.

I know, he left Bayern having won 3 in a row, but then he had this job to move to. Can't see what job he'd want to move to that would be an upgrade.

But then, Pep is Pep. He decides whatnhe wants and he seems to want what he feels. Think it will be led as much by emotion as it will by logic.

At the moment he comes across as being all in, so hopefully that continues.

Which is why it’s too early to speculate on anything. Next season is 12 weeks away so who knows how Pep will feel come the start.

I think it’s a positive sign for us that he hasn’t walked at the end of this season and is willing to go into next season.
If his mind was made up I reckon we’d have got some clarity at the end of this season

If Vinny is successful at Bayern I don't see them letting him go that easily.
It’s similar to when Arteta moved to Arsenal. If he’s successful he’ll want to stay for a long time. If he’s unsuccessful we won’t want him.
