It's also reminiscent of how Pep quit Barcelona after feeling like he was having to spend half his time defending the club, himself and the board in the press every week.

This kind of stuff is what lead to his burnout and sabbatical in NY, it absolutely has to be a one off thing.

Pep didn't have much option today, but from now on he should let it be known he'll only answer football questions.

Once CAS delivers their full verdict, our lawyers should make a no nonsense press statement and leave it at that.
 
Where does this leave the PL enquiry if that is not affected by time barring?



For those that can't see tweets, this City fan (slbsn) has a very decent knowledge of all this:

'Although there is no explicit statute of limitation in the PL rules, it is an English company and the rules likely to be governed by English law and I would think any action would be a form of contractual claim bound by the Limitation Act 1980 with a 6 year statutory limit.'
