I don't think we can read too much into what Pep says in these because he clearly views them as a way to manage his team's morale and has some level of disdain for those asking the questions (all of which is appropriate to me).

However I did find it interesting that he said that he was unhappy with some specific prior performances. I think the truth comes out more over time than it does immediately after the match.
