Pep's Press Conferences - Watford (A) Post Match (Page 129)

2012.

We got Vieira speaking to the BBC about the ways refs treated us differently. FA could do fuck all as he wasn't on our playing/coaching staff at the time.
Cheers I don't remember this, ahh I'll just use the old excuse my memory isn't what it used to be..

I can't imagine how angry inside he is with all this crap from media to refs. I know how pushed off I am and my reputation isn't under scrutiny :( Absolute disgrace from a so called ref yet again. Fuming but proud of the performance against all odds

Great to see how upset the journalists are that the manager doesn't give them the respect they think they deserve. The journalists and pundits in this country are so self entitled, they think that they are part of the game and that they deserve to be treated as such, but Pep is just treating them for what they are, leeches that he has to deal with. They fall over themselves when mangers pander to them and pretend like they are anything other than an inconvenient waste of their time. They want him to give them a quote so they can use it as their headline, so when he doesn't they write a story about how he isn't giving them their quote.

Anything to avoid talking about the actual game of football, god forbid the journalists have to actually talk about the game! They are far more interested in reporting on the press conference than the game

Spot on,apparently its a disgrace how pep has treated this interviewer, the gutter press and media in general will close ranks expect articles out ripping into city and pep snide digs and comments along the lines is he all that, and not cut out for English football..fuck the media we have known long enough what's been going on pep does as well now..

Feels like a bit of a turning point from Pep. Seems like he's saying it's been nothing but negativity and where is the credit ? Where is the balance ? Less than 48 hours after Liverpool we win with a man down after 30 minutes today. Siege mentality and gloves are off. Good to see him firing a few broadsides across the journos boughs. No more Mr Nice Guy !

Wow, Pep looks well fucked off! It seems he has become a firm believer in the "City Agenda" and he has a point re: Fernandinho, we've seen Rojos, 2 footed challenge go unpunished twice, now Fernandinho's red means another 4 match ban, for someone who isn't a dirty, or malicious player.
The Honeymoon period seems to have worn off, "Pep you promised us a football revolution, not a gritty balls to the wall 10 man performance" cry the media, as if they've been deceived by their own hyperbole at the start of the season.
Also heard he and Txiki had strong words after the game too, hope it was Pep demanding some action in the transfer window!

At last no more mr nice guy.
We're all right behind you Pep.
If the fuckers want respect they had better earn it and more importantly show him some first.
Enough is enough.
Bring on the media war...it will only make us stronger.
