You're right of course about any other club being a step down, but there must come a point where he feels the need to do something else. He is a man in heavy demand and will have many many choices.I think we've got Pep for many more years to come. City is the perfect club for him, years of preparation were laid down for his appointment and he knows that, nowhere else comes close. Unless something weird happens in his life I'm sure he'll renew his contract. Any other club would be a step down to what he's got here.
If an opposition player did that to us would you expect the same lack of reaction? They're like the walking dead, Ole has drained all emotion from them.
Guess I should have read the whole thread before posting :(What struck me about that was how passive the Rag fans were, just two fans gesticulating at Bernie.
It that was the Etihad and a Rag had scored the whole crowd would be giving it some.
He checks the screen to his right all the time doesn’t he?Notice the difference between a coach who is rightfully acclaimed as the best in the world, to that of a Norwegian who sits for nearly 90 minutes in his seat offering no guidance nor encouragement to his sides dismal players.
I genuinely thought he was running off to take a quick corner !Maybe they hadn't realised it had gone in either and wondered what he was doing!
you mean a half turn to then face the goal we are attacking?....if so both Foden and Palmer do this very wellPep has coached every club in England. You can see it as grassroots level, teams playing out from the back, pressing (so the first needs to be accurate to overcome the second), not being bothered about passing back in order to keep the ball. That said, I think compared to his first couple of years, players often don't turn to face goal when they're not under pressure. There was a German commentary (posted here) about how the weight/speed of pass told the recipient whether to control and turn or play it back. I think we have lost that a bit, and even in that game on Saturday there were a couple of times when I was shouting "No, turn" (to face goal). Or maybe it was just Sergio that was so good at that!
We have broken them. They know their lives will never be the same again. Their kids and grandkids will be City fansIf an opposition player did that to us would you expect the same lack of reaction? They're like the walking dead, Ole has drained all emotion from them.
The bulk of the fans are looking towards the shite defence who are arguing whose faut it was.Easy !! The fucking lot of `em. ;)One specky twat doing the wanker sign, the rest of the crowd apoplectic, err, apathetic I mean. What a shower of not rights.
