I wonder how far the line we are with deals for the summer? This summer will be crazy with the new tv money, new managers at Chelsea, probably united and Klopp will be given money at Liverpool. There is a small elite players market which means any top class players available will be pursued by Real, Barca, Bayern, Chelsea, united and ourselves. I hope that Txiki is already working with a number of deals so that before the window opens we've identified every player we need this summer.

Despite last summers big spend I have a suspicion that there will be another huge spend with an accompanying scramble to find new clubs for a few our departing stars.

Demichelis is going, Yaya will probably go, Fernando is a doubt as is Mangala, I think Kolarov will go and there have been rumours over of a move to Italy for Zabaleta, Cabellero will probably move for game time and Bony will probably move on and I think one of Nasri or Navas will go.

That means up to 9 first team players could leave with only Denayer likely to replace from within.

I was having this thought today also. I'm probably putting 2 and 2 together to get 5, but could it be we announced Pep early to facilitate some early transfer negotiations?

If it was me I'd sign Alex Sandro, Serge Aurier, Julian Weigl,Isco, Sane and Alexis Sanchez get rid of Sagna, Martin, Kolarov, Fernando, Yaya, Navas and Bony.

Haha good one

Of course we have a world class keeper, these days Hart is one of our only players who always performs on the biggest stages, he's one of the few English players who isn't overhyped, in fact he probably doesn't get enough credit from the English media, meanwhile he's actually held in high esteem outside of England.

The only keeper we should be looking for is someone who's willing to be on the bench instead of Willy.

The reality is that we won't be buying so many players like media says or some fifa-manager-love fans want.
Guardiola is the best manager because he can use team resources efficiently and create system which is capable to achieve things.

So I think that this will more realistic view of future:

Sold: Demichelis (His age plays bigger role), yaya, bony (not pep's type), kolarov (his first touch is annoying).
In: Denayer, new left-back, new midfielder, new winger.

left-back can be david alaba as well as bernat, this depends how we will succeed during negotiations and price is issue too.
as for midfielder pogba was number one priority but we can turn our attention to barkley or xhaka like it's reported lately.
winger should be experienced and also able to play as forward and replace sterling, like navas will be replacement of debruyne.
I would go for nolito as he has experience, barcelona graduate and pep's type of player.

So, team will look like this:
Hart Caballero
zaba sagna kompany denayer otamendi mangala alaba/bernat clichy
fernandinho xhaka/pogba/barkley delph fernando
silva nasri sterling debruyne navas nolito
aguero iheanacho

This signings will probably cost nearly 100m, so I think that club willn't go beyond that amount as it's unreal to spend 200m.

Starting 11: hart zaba kompany otamendi alaba fernandinho pogba silva sterling debruyne aguero
if kompany, silva and aguero are injured
hart zaba denayer otamendi alaba fernandinho pogba nasri sterling nolito debruyne
