Peter Drury replaces Martin Tyler on Sky Sports

I suspect SKYs problems are connected to a poor financial performance under pressure from other broadcasters. Football is booming globally but SKY is struggling. Perhaps they should scrap their fixation on MUFC, LFC, and the 1990s. The game has changed and they have missed the boat.
I wish I could get in on the royalties from the "Class Of 92" and the 99 Treble Winners. Both programmes seem to be on loop - especially after every united setback.

Probably should’ve gone years ago tbh. I think the fact that fans of almost every team think that he dislikes their club is pretty damning of his commentary style. Hope they get someone like Peter Drury to replace him.
Steeped in paranoia probably. It’ll be the same for whoever replaces him.

Wish him well with whatever he does next. I know the Aguero one is his peak but the Reyes one vs Middlesbrough sticks in my mind the most.

Edit: For context, 3:09. His ability to capture those moments amplified the league.

Since out fantastic treble achievements I’ve notice United’s history channel has moved directly to the Sky channels.
This doesn’t make me angry in the slightest, it makes me laugh at sky-united desperation to stay relevant.
