Peter Drury replaces Martin Tyler on Sky Sports

+1 for Barry Davies. A great commentator whereas Motson became a caricature of himself over the years. All the boring, crappy stats he used to roll out were irrelevant as far as I was concerned.

I was also a great fan of David Coleman's football commentaries back in the day. His "One-Nil" deliveries were all that were needed when the deadlock was broken.
Hugh Johns I always felt was a great commentator with a great voice.

The way he jizzed his pants every time the rags scored won't be missed one little bit...

Remember him showing his true colours with his "ooohhhhhh YESSSSSSSS" when Martial scored his first (I think?) goal for the rags.

Remember when he jizzed his pants for Aguero too?

That wasn't because it was the rags it was because martial was laughed about all summer as they paid 60m for an unknown kid only for him to score on his debut.

Thanks for Aguerooooooo, but he'd dropped off massively over the last few seasons.
Guy was comatose for just about every goal he called - for any team - over the past 5 years.
And FWIW Drury is contracted with NBC in the US, he's not on the World Feed commentary. Would be interesting to see if he's tempted to break that contract, but wouldn't think so.
